HexCon is not the bigest convention in Norway (Arcon in Oslo is bigger) but it is the core of the more active Britannia player. The tournament level is extremely high, and the traditional competition spirit of the norwegians gives fierce battle generally more offensive than defensive. Winning in Norway can be considered a great achievement. Former champions include a Brit, and also the Torvatn brothers.

The norwegian hobby volunteered to host the third edition of EuroBrit in Hexcon in 2002.
